Sales Tax going up January 1, 2020

Retailers in Grand Junction city limits need to mark January 1 on the calendar. It's the day the City Sales Tax rate increases.

Shoppers will see an increase from 2.75% to 3.25% starting the first day of 2020. In total, if you buy something within the city limits, your sales tax rate will be 8.52% - that includes city, county, and state sales tax.
